During all of my time on this planet, I have mostly looked forward, backward, sideways and down. Rarely did I look up. This new Series, The Theory of Everything, is me looking up. Contraction, expansion, collapse is part of the imagery dynamic I create with 3d software. Once mounted on panel, the image serves as a template that I paint and draw into. I remove parts, add parts, expand parts. Push and pull. It’s my way of processing the enormity – just the factual enormity – of deep space.
